KATHMANDU, Dec 14: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said that there will be partial change in the hilly areas of the country from Saturday and the weather will remain clear in other areas.
In the three-day bulletin published today, the MFD has forecasted that there is no chance of rain and snow today and tomorrow after much since the beginning of winter.
Weather: Possibility of rain in most places today and tomorrow
On Saturday, only light snowfall has been predicted in a couple of places in the high hills and Himalayan areas.
Similarly, the weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country today and tomorrow in the afternoon and night.
On Saturday, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces will be partly cloudy and the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the province, while there is a possibility of light snowfall in some places in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Karnali province.
The MFD said that the country is still under the general influence of western winds.
