November 20 election: 84 political parties apply for registration to take part in the upcoming Provincial Assembly and HoR elections

KATHMANDU, August 17: A total of 84 political parties including new ones have submitted their applications for party registration at the Election Commission (EC) to participate in the elections to the members of House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly scheduled for November 20.

KATHMANDU, August 17: A total of 84 political parties including new ones have submitted their applications for party registration at the Election Commission (EC) to participate in the elections to the members of House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly scheduled for November 20. 


As of the final deadline on Tuesday for the registration of political parties for elections, the parties have presented their credentials along with applications at the EC.

The deadline for party registration at the EC was served up to August 16 following the announcement of HoR and provincial assembly elections in the country. 


The EC has prepared details, including the main registration of the party and registration date, party name, name of the party’s chief and party registration number maintained at the EC.
