KATHMANDU, July 26: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is scheduled to announce its monetary policy for the fiscal year 2024/25 today.

The delay in releasing the policy came as a result of this recent development.

Earlier this week, Prime Minister KP Oli, during a vote of confidence, highlighted the importance of flexibility in monetary policy. He also highlighted the renewed enthusiasm in the stock market following the formation of a new government and expressed a commitment to bolster other sectors of the economy.
