NRB temporarily increases E-wallet deposit limit till November 19

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: The Nepal Rastra Bank has temporarily increased the limit for depositing funds in e-wallets operated by digital payment service providers.

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: The Nepal Rastra Bank has temporarily increased the limit for depositing funds in e-wallets operated by digital payment service providers.


The NRB has revised the provisions of the integrated directive on payment system and has doubled the limit of depositing money in e-wallets.

"While there is a provision that a maximum of 10 deposits can be made in the wallet of an individual in a day, a new arrangement has been made so that a maximum of 20 deposits can be made in the wallet of an individual from November 10 to November 19, ” reads a notice issued by the NRB.
