KATHMANDU, March 20: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to issue development bonds worth Rs 7.69 billion on behalf of the government. The announcement for the issuance will be made by the NRB on Wednesday.
The bonds are scheduled to be auctioned on March 21, with the release set for March 22. These bonds will have a maturity period of 6 years.

Banks, financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions, insurance companies, and Nepali citizens are eligible to participate in the bidding for these bonds.
The government routinely raises domestic debt through the issuance of development bonds annually.
