KATHMANDU, April 24: Nepal Republic Media (NRM) is celebrating its 13th anniversary amid an event at the Kathmandu-based Yak and Yeti Hotel on Saturday afternoon.
To kick off the celebration, the Republica Development Conclave entitled Nepal’s LDC graduation and way forward is scheduled to take place. Ayshanie Medagangoda-Labe, UNDP representative for Nepal, Nona Deprez, Ambassador of the EU Delegation to Nepal and Dr Swarnim Wagle, former vice chairman of the National Planning Commission are the panelists for the conclave to be moderated by Dr Biswo Poudel.
Nagrik Nayak 2079 underway at Basantapur Dabali
NRM is also organizing a program to honor three personalities as ‘Nagarik Nayak’ who have made outstanding contributions to the Nepali society, to mark its 13th anniversary.
In view of the rapid spread of the coronavirus infection in the country this year, the program is being conducted only among a limited number of people, said the company. The program is being broadcast live on the Facebook page of Nagarik Network and Nepal Television from 5PM to 7PM.
