KATHMANDU, June 7: Nepal Sports Journalist Forum (NSJF) Thursday signed a three-year agreement deal with sportswear company Kelme, for the upcoming NSJF Sports Award.
NSJF signed the agreement deal amid a function in Kathmandu, for the distribution of sportswear for the award ceremony with the Kamaru Trading Private Limited which is popularly known as Kelme Nepal, an authorized distributor of Kelme.
NSJF President Durga Nath Subedi and Kelme Nepal’s Managing Director Uttam Neupane signed the agreement paper. According to the deal, the company will provide t-shirts and tracksuits.

Neupane said that the Kelme Nepal is moving forward to be the leading sportswear brand of the country. It has been cooperating with many sports related organization along with the Nepal national football team and A-Division League champion Manang Marshyangdi
Club.
Subedi said that the cooperation of the private sector has helped take the award program reach a new height.
The 16th edition of the NSJF Awards is slated to be held on July 2. The forum announced the candidates for the Peoples’ Choice Award.
General Secretary of the forum Prajwal Oli informed that the candidates for the best player of men’s and women’s categories, the best youth player and the best coach will be announced soon. The winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award, Para Athlete, Special Award, Team of the Year will be decided on the day of the award ceremony. An international sports journalist will also be felicitated on the day.
The best men and women players, along with Peoples’ Choice Award winner and the best coach will get a Pulsar bike each, while the winners of other categories will receive Rs 50,000 each.
NSJF had already extended an agreement deal with Hansraj Hulaschand and Company for the main sponsor.
The other partners of the program are Avenues TV, Surya Nepal, Royal Singhi Hotel, Sagarmatha Cements, Ruslan Football, Gold Star, Timex, National Sports Council and the Nepal Olympic Committee.
