KATHMANDU, June 6:  The Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) has revoked the license of Binod Chaudhary’s CG Communications Limited. This action follows the cancellation of STS Telecom Sanchar Pvt Ltd’s license due to the failure to submit a renewal application within the required deadline.

CG Communications had originally obtained its rural telecommunication service license on November 21, 2003. However, the NTA revealed that the license was automatically canceled on November 16, 2023 as the renewal application and fee were not submitted on time, in accordance with Rule 12 of the Telecommunications Regulations 2054.
