KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has stated that opposition CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli is still hallucinating of postponing forthcoming elections.

Few hours before the silence period began on Thursday, Prime Minister Deuba, who is also the president of the ruling Nepali Congress, satirically stated that Oli hallucinates of postponing just-around-the-corner elections.

And this Oli’s hallucination of postponing the elections will continue even after the voting is over, Deuba added.

Addressing an election rally at Rolpa, PM Deuba stated if the communist government is formed, the public will have to survive in fear. He claimed, ‘The communist government collapsed in the world, but it is now being practiced in Nepal.

Deuba urged Rolpa people to vote in favor of the NC in the forthcoming federal parliamentary and provincial elections to safeguard democracy and implement the constitution.

PM Deuba claimed that Ropla is the district where most of the NC cadres lost their lives during a decade Maoist insurgency, adding, “The option is now in the hand of Nepali people to choose either communist monopoly or multiparty democracy.”
