LAHAN, June 25: Police have arrested for alleged involvement in the gang rape on a girl at Karjanha municipality-1 in Siraha district.

A local Shyam Kumar Mahara was arrested on the charge of raping the 14-year old girl at a time when she had gone to cut grass on Monday.
The victim said a group of five people comprising Mahara raped her. Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Siraha, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Apilraj Bohara, said that action has been forwarded against Mahara.
