BHIMDUTTANAGAR, Oct 6: An e-rickshaw driver has been arrested for an attempted rape on a mentally retarded woman here.

The rickshaw driver Gajendra Bista of Baitadi who has been currently living at local bus park was arrested on Thursday on the charge of attempted rape on the 38-year-old woman at Janakitol, Bhimduttanagar, Kanchanpur district, according to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur.
Legal action would be initiated against the accused Bista. Locals had informed the police when they saw Bista trying to commit sexual assault on the woman.(RSS)
