KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Nepal Army has arrested a man on the charge of rhino poaching.
A team deployed by the Khadgadal Battalion of the army for the security of Chitwan National Park has arrested Nangi Tamang, 62, who lives in Bauddha, Kathmandu, for killing rhinos in the past.
Fourteen arrested on charge of poaching rhinos
According to the Nepal Army, Tamang, a resident of Mugum Karmarog Rural Municipality, Rom, Mugu district, has been arrested on the charge of killing rhinos and selling horns in the past. The arrested Tamang has been sent to the Chitwan National Park Office for further investigation.
