According to the District Police Office, Jumla, 16-year-old Bandana Bhandari died in the fire in the house of Log Bahadur Bhandari in Chandannath.


DSP Narendra Chand of the District Police Office, Jumla, said that she was burnt to death while she was sleeping when the fire broke out at midnight. According to him, an investigation is underway to find out the cause of the fire. He added that the 3-storey mud house has been completely destroyed in the fire. He pointed out that more details of the damage are yet to come.
