KAWASOTI, April 5: A person died in a road mishap occurred at Madhyabindu municipality-10 of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway last night. Tikaram Mahato, 22, who is residing in Devchuli municipality, Sirjana Chowk lost his life when a truck (Na 8 Kha 1845) hit the scooter (Lu 41 Pa 1727) he was riding. Pillion rider Bharat Gurau, 21 of the same place, sustained injuries in the incident.

Mahato who was critically injured was rushed to Bharatpur, Chitwan for treatment. He breathed his last at 2.00 am this morning. Arjun Ranabhat, DSP, informed that injured Gurau is undergoing treatment at old Medical College in Bharatpur. RSS
