DHULIKHEL, May 1: A COVID-19 patient died this morning while undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital. A 37-year-old male from Kubinde of Sindhupalchowk was admitted to the hospital last Friday after he complained of health complications.

The man, a heart patient, was confirmed to have been infected with the virus through the PCR test the same day, according to Emergency Ward chief Dr Sanu Shrestha. After further medical tests, he was diagnosed with pneumonia as well and was being treated at the Emergency Ward due to the shortage of ICU beds, it is said.
