BARA, Feb 27: One person lost his life and four others sustained serious injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in Nijgadh market in Nijgadh Municipality on Monday.
Bara Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Dadhiram Neupane said that the deceased has been identified as Resham Magar, the manager of an iron welding shop.

DSP Neupane said that the explosion occurred at around 1:30 in the afternoon while welding iron. Police are actively investigating the incident to find further details. Bara police informed Republica that the injured are being treated at Nijgadh Community Hospital.
Among the injured are Surya Bahadur Thapa from Nijgadh-5, Rakesh Jaiswal from Gawahi, India, Arbind Shah from Ramgarhwa, Bihar, and Ritu Rajat, whose address has not been revealed, Bara police Spokesperson Neupane said.
