One killed, two injured in Dailekh house collapse

DAILEKH, August 25: A woman died after her house  collapsed due to incenssant rainfall at the district headquarter Dailekh on early Friday. The deceased has been identified as 45-years-old  Deepa Chandra of  Naryan  Rural municipality-11.

DAILEKH, August 25: A woman died after her house  collapsed due to incenssant rainfall at the district headquarter Dailekh on early Friday. The deceased has been identified as 45-years-old  Deepa Chandra of  Naryan  Rural municipality-11.

Similarly,  two people were injured in the incident. They are 35-years-old Bindu Shahi and her 12-years-old daughter Meena Shahi. According to Akendra Khadka, Spokesperson of  District Police Office(DPO), Dailekh,  Deepa died on the spot while two injured have been taken to Nepalgunj for further treatment. Bindu and Meena have received injuries to their chests and legs.


As many as six houses were partially damaged while the three are fully damaged. Nepal Police and Nepal Army are helping  to take the belongings out of the damaged houses.
