One killed in bomb blast at Nakhkhu Ncell tower

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: One among the three people who were critically injured when an unidentified group detonated a bomb with the intention of blowing off the Ncell mobile tower at Nakhkhu, Lalitpur on Friday night, has died.

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: One among the three people who were critically injured when an unidentified group detonated a bomb with the intention of blowing off the Ncell mobile tower at Nakhkhu, Lalitpur on Friday night, has died. 


Police identified the deceased as Singha Prasad Gurung.

Gurung, Pratikshya Khadka and Urusha Manandhar were injured in the explosion. Khadka is being treated at Alka Hospital and Manandhar at B&B Hospital. Gurung, who was taken to the Mediciti Hospital at Nakhkhu, died in course of treatment, Deputy Inspector General of Police and Chief of the Metropolitan Police Office Ranipokhari, Shailesh Thapa Chhetri, said.
