DAMAK, Aug 27: A woman died and another was injured from knife attack in Kerkha of Topgachhi in Jhapa district this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sunita Rai of Kerkha, said Police.
Rita Limbu, 24, had attacked Sunita with knife on Friday night, saying Sunita had relation with her husband Dhan Bahadur Limbu. Rita had also attacked her husband Limbu.
Sunita died this morning while undergoing treatment at Damak-based Lifeline Hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office, Damak, Rajan Limbu.
Similarly, injured Dhan Bahadur has been referred to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences from Lifeline Hospital. Police have arrested Rita for investigation. RSS
