KATHMANDU, Oct 22: A tragic motorcycle accident in Kailali claimed the life of one person. According to the Kailali District Police Office, the victim has been identified as 36-year-old cyclist Data Prasad Chaudhary, hailing from Joshipur Rural Municipality-4, Hasnapur.
Indian national killed in motorbike accident
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kuldeep Chand, representing the District Police Office in Kailali, reported that the accident occurred when Data Prasad Chaudhary was struck by a motorcycle bearing the registration number Ba 78 Pa 3646 along the East-West Highway in Bardagoria Rural Municipality-2. Unfortunately, he sustained severe injuries and, despite receiving medical treatment at Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi, he succumbed to his injuries on Friday night.
The police have taken 27-year-old Sanam Chaudhary into custody. Sanam Chaudhary is a resident of Chakabari in Lamkichuha Municipality-7. An investigation is underway to gather further details about the incident.
