MANGALBARE, April 9: A tusker killed a man in Chulachuli Rural Municipality of Ilam today. The deceased has been identified as Ram Bahadur Thukung Rai, 39, of Chulachuli-3, Samriddhi Tole.
A wild elephant attacked him while he was on morning walk. Rai was immediately rushed to the Damak-based Advance Hospital for treatment after he was left seriously injured in the attack.

Information Officer at District Police Office, Jhapa, Junga Bahadur Thapa said that he died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The tusker had attacked him in the area which lies barely 200 meters away from his home.
