KATHMANDU, June 28: A person was killed and another person injured in a terrifying accident that occurred in Koteshwor on Monday evening.
Deb Kumar Sen, 52 of Syangja was hit by a Micro (Ba 2 Kha 1231) heading to Balkumari from Koteshwor. The overspeeding microbus collided with a truck after hitting Sen on the road near Rastriya Banijya Bank at Koteshwor. The front part of the microbus was completely damaged in the crash.

Spokesperson of the District Police, Kathmandu, SP Dinesh Raj Mainali informed that Sen, who was critically injured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at B&B Hospital, Gwarko.
After hitting him the micro collided with the truck, leaving helper of the microbus Bimal Sunar, 23 seriously injured. The injured Sunar is undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital in New Baneshwor.
According to spokesperson Mainali, police have taken control of the microbus and truck involved in the collision. The driver of the microbus is absconding.
