Govt tables ordinance and order to remove difficulties in parliament

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: The government tabled an ordinance related to financial procedures and an order to remove difficulties at Monday’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: The government tabled an ordinance related to financial procedures and an order to remove difficulties at Monday’s meeting of the House of Representatives.


During the House meeting, Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat tabled the 'Financial Procedures and Financial Accountability (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2080'. The ordinance includes provisions such as moving forward the time period for prior discussions of the government's policies and programs and budget.

Likewise, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dhanraj Gurung tabled the order to remove difficulties related to extending the terms of two commissions related to transitional justice as provided by Section 42 of the Commission for the Investigation of Disappeared Persons, Truth and Reconciliation Act, 2071 BS.


The House of Representatives will meet again at 11:00 AM on February 7.
