The remaining climbers will be allowed to climb the mountain turn by turn later.

“The turn for climber has been determined to ease the traffic jam on the highest peak,” said Acharya.

As climbers get narrow window to summit Everest, climbers at the base camp have headed toward higher camps after report of improved weather.

Everest often faces worst traffic jam with the number of Everest hopeful increasing in recent years. According to a BBC report, around 234 climbers had reached the peak on a single day in 2012.

Liaison officers say the base camp now seems deserted as climbers, Sherpas and support staff have already headed toward higher camps seeking opportunity to scale the summit. As per their turn, climbers are now stationed at camp II, III and IV.

After the summit window improved, 14 climbers from Imagine Nepal scaled the world’s highest peak on Monday. A total of 381 climbers from 44 expedition companies have received permission to climb Everest this spring season.
