Over 167.86 million units of new stocks listed in secondary market last month

KATHMANDU, Dec 30: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) listed more than 167.86 million units of new stocks in the secondary market in one month during mid-November and mid-December.

KATHMANDU, Dec 30: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) listed more than 167.86 million units of new stocks in the secondary market in one month during mid-November and mid-December.


In the review month, the country’s only stock exchange listed initial public offerings (IPOs) of two companies including Muktinath Krishi Company and Trishuli Hydropower Company. These companies listed 7 million units and 18,525,000 units of their IPOs, respectively.

In further public offerings, Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha issued 123,816.45 units and Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha issued 178,451.18 units to the public. Likewise, Synergy Power and Arun Kabeli Power issued 4,032,875 units and 18,552,105 units of their right shares, respectively.


Machhapuchchhre Bank and Nadep Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha issued their bonus shares during the period. Similarly, Kumari Bank listed 5 million units of its debentures with 10-year maturity.
