A huge number of Buddhists come to Nepal from Korea every year to visit sites where Buddha was born and brought up.

Tilaurakot is the playground of Buddha while Twin Stupa is considered to be the monument of his father and mother. Likewise, Nigrodharma is popular as a site where Buddha delivered his preaching to several Buddhism followers including his son Rahul after he attained enlightenment.
