KATHMANDU, March 29: Plastic is prohibited in Pashupatinath temple premises. The Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) published a notice on Wednesday saying that it was found that there was more waste in the Pashupati area due to the use of plastic.
The PADT said that the use of plastic bags had made Pashupati Nath Temple premises dirtier. The PADT has requested all concerned not to bring plastic material to the Pashupati area and help make the Pashupatinath clean-up campaign a success.
PADT to remove illegal structures built in its premises
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation is conducting a cleanliness campaign in the Pashupati area every Saturday. This campaign will continue for three months.
The PADT has also requested everyone to participate in this campaign, which will run from 8 am to 10 am each Saturday.
