Pak assistance for flood victims

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Pakistan has provided US$ one million to Nepal for victims of recent flood in Tarai. Ambassador of Pakistan, Mazhar Javed called on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Thursday and handed over a cheque for reconstruction and rehabilitation of the affected of the recent floods in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Pakistan has provided US$ one million to Nepal for victims of recent flood in Tarai. Ambassador of Pakistan, Mazhar Javed called on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Thursday and handed over a cheque for reconstruction and rehabilitation of the affected of the recent floods in Nepal.


During the program, Prime Minister Deuba thanked Government and people of Pakistan for contributing generously to Nepal’s efforts for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the flood victims.


Issuing a press release on Thursday, the embassy of Pakistan stated that the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had conveyed his sympathies for the flood victims and pledged assistance in his meeting with the Prime Minister Deuba in New York on the sidelines of United Nation General Assembly in New York on September 2017
