Pak, Sri Lanka envoys discuss coordinating three-way relations, SAARC matters

KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Abrar H. Hashmi held a meeting with Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal Air Chief Marshal SK Pathirana (Retd.) on Tuesday.

During the meeting held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu, the envoys held discussion on furthering bilateral relations between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and coordinating three-way relations between Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The two envoys also pledged to work together on issues related to SAARC. 


Ambassador Pathirana, who rose to the top rank of Sri Lanka Air Force, is a graduate of Pakistan Air Force Academy, Rislapur. He was appointed as Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal following his retirement from the military service.
