Pakistan Embassy organizes free medical camp

KATHMANDU, March 29: The Embassy of Pakistan in collaboration with Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association (NPFCA) organized a free medical camp in Lalitpur on Monday.

KATHMANDU, March 29: The Embassy of Pakistan in collaboration with Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association (NPFCA) organized a free medical camp in Lalitpur on Monday.


Nepali doctors and para-medical staff (who had graduated from various medical institutions of Pakistan) provided free medical advice, treatment and three months worth medicines to more than 500 people at the camp. According to the embassy, patients were apprised of preventive measures against COVID-19 and they were provided with free face masks and hand sanitizers.

The free medical camp was jointly inaugurated by Ambassador Syed Haider Shah, Deputy Mayor of Godawari Municipality Mona Adhikari and Secretary General, Nepal-Pakistan Friendship & Cultural Association (NPFCA), Dr Manju Ratna Shakya.


Ambassador Shah said that the free medical camp is a reflection of the people-to-people relations between Pakistan and Nepal. He also assured of Pakistan’s continued support to such medical camps in the future as well.
