KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Speaker of the House of Representatives Krishna Bahadur Mahara has now adjourned the parliament for fifteen minutes after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli addressed the parliament session, on Sunday afternoon.

The parliament meeting turned unpleasant after the Nepali Congress lawmakers surrounded the rostrum after Speaker Mahara only allowed few NC lawmakers to speak.

Nepali Congress lawmakers Minendra Rijal and Gagan Thapa among others objected the speaker's order saying that all NC lawmakers should be allowed speaking and raising questions to Prime Minister Oli regarding the government's works. However, Speaker Mahara said that today's session was not scheduled for question and answer. Amid hullabaloo, Speaker Mahara adjourned the parliament meeting for fifteen minutes.
