Partly cloudy weather likely in hilly areas of the country

KATHMANDU, Nov 6: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that there will be partial rain in the hilly areas of the country today.


Currently, there is a partial influence of western winds in Nepal. Since morning, the weather has been partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country, and the weather in the rest of the areas is generally clear.

According to the officials of the MFD, the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country, with partly cloudy skies this afternoon. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country and light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas.


The officials have said that the weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country tonight.


The MFD officials have requested the general public to remain cautious as there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country and light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas.
