KATHMANDU, June 28: A passenger bus accident in Ramechhap has left nine people injured, with two in critical condition. The District Police Office, Ramechhap, reported that the accident occurred this morning in Lipani, Birta of Likhu Tamakosi Rural Municipality.

According to Kaushal Neupane, Police Inspector and Information Officer at the District Police Office, Ramechhap, the bus (Ba 5 Kha 5625) operated by Araniko Transport, was en route to Manthali via Khimti and Keurini. The accident happened at around 8:30 AM when the bus's front wheel slipped on the unpaved road due to overnight rain.
Neupane confirmed that there were 9 passengers on board, and efforts are underway for rescue and assistance at the accident site. Further updates are awaited.
