Paudel calls for nat’l consensus to amend constitution

JANAKPUR, Nov 22: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress Ram Chandra has Paudel said that the constitution amendment process will be taken forward by forging national consensus among the political parties.

JANAKPUR, Nov 22: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress Ram Chandra has Paudel said that the constitution amendment process will be taken forward by forging national consensus among the political parties.


Speaking at a press conference in Janakpurdham organized by Nepal Press Union, Dhanusha Chapter on Tuesday leader Paudel urged the stakeholders not to act toward losing the achievements of federalism, democracy and inclusiveness.


Meanwhile, Paudel stressed for dialogues to institutionalize federalism and republic through constitution amendment and its implementation.

“We should go for local and provincial elections as soon as possible by sorting out the national issues, “said Paudel.
