Noting that he has frequently urged NC President to consolidate and unite the party, Koirala said the President should take leadership to bring factionalism in the party to an end.

No force can overcome NC if the party is made an unified force till upcoming elections, he claimed.

Likewise, another leader Mahesh Acharya said the NC was weak due to internal betrayal in the elections. He urged the party leadership to align its structure with federal setup of the country to make the party dynamic political force.

Similarly, another leader Dhanraj Gurung highlighted the need for the leadership to adopt the path of integrity.

On the occasion senior active members of the NC Chitwan were felicitated in recognition of their remarkable contributions.
