PHC asks general public to submit complaints against proposed Auditor General within 10 days

KATHMANDU, April 1: The parliamentary hearing process of the proposed Auditor General Toyam Raya has moved forward. The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has asked the general public to submit complaints, if any, against the proposed Auditor General within 10 days.

KATHMANDU, April 1: The parliamentary hearing process of the proposed Auditor General Toyam Raya has moved forward. The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has asked the general public to submit complaints, if any, against the proposed Auditor General within 10 days.

The General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Padma Prasad Pandey said that today's meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee decided to issue a notice to the general public to submit any complaints or grievances related to Raya within the next 10 days.


Raya, currently serving as the Chief Statistics Officer at the National Statistics Office, was recommended for the appointment to the post of Auditor General by a Constitutional Council meeting held on Sunday.
