KATHMANDU, Sept 22: The supporters of Dr Govinda KC staged a protest expressing solidarity with Dr Govinda KC at Maitighar on Tuesday.
Dr KC had staged a hunger strike demanding medical reforms for the 19th time in Karnali. He has been airlifted to Kathmandu after his health condition deteriorated.

Dr KC has been advocating reforms in Nepal’s medical sectors by staging hunger strikes time and again. However, each successive government over the past several years have not shown willingness to address the demand put forth by the agitating Dr KC.
Earlier on Tuesday, Dr KC was forcibly admitted to Trauma Center in Kathmandu after being airlifted from Nepalgunj.
