Addressing a program organized in Kathmandu on the occasion of the 64th Parliament Service Day, he claimed that ploys were being hatched to hand NOC over to private businessmen for commissions worth billions of rupees.

"NOC will be given to private businessmen and this is not a matter of a few millions but billions of rupees,” leader Poudel said. He also expressed anger over the government's failure to provide fertilizers to the farmers on time. "It's time to cultivate and there's a shortage of fertilizers. This is all due to policy corruption," he said.
