PM calls ruling coalition meeting

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the ruling coalition. A leader said that in the meeting, they will discuss the issue of rebel candidates outside the alliance and dismissal of the ministers of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) which has left the ruling alliance.

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the ruling coalition. A leader said that in the meeting, they will discuss the issue of rebel candidates outside the alliance and dismissal of the ministers of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) which has left the ruling alliance.


Prime Minister Deuba called a meeting of the alliance in Baluwatar at 2 PM. Dissatisfied with the distribution of seats, JSP left the alliance and entered into an electoral alliance with CPN-UML. As a result, Prime Minister Deuba has prepared to remove JSP ministers from the government.

Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Rajendra Prasad Shrestha, Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Mohammad Ishtiyaq Rai, Forest and Environment Minister Pradeep Yadav and Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Mrigendra Kumar Singh Yadav are in the government from JSP.
