KATHMANDU, March 7: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has addressed the House of Representatives today for the first time after a change in the ruling alliance and reconstitution of the government.
Making it clear that the government would be serious about the issues raised in parliament, PM Dahal said that with the reconstitution of the government, questions raised upon the Balkumari incident in parliament have been addressed to some extent.

"The allegation that the government is not accountable to parliament is not true. Such allegations against the Prime Minister, who started a question-answer session making a regular agenda in parliament, is not acceptable," he said.
PM Dahal shared that discussions were underway under the leadership of a joint-secretary of the home ministry to resolve the problem of loan shark victims. Similarly, the PM said, preparations were underway by forming a task force at the National Planning Commission to resolve the problems of cooperative victims.
Similarly, Nepal Police have started a process to take action against those involved in embezzlement of savings of the people by cooperatives after carrying out investigation, he added.
The Prime Minister said he had responded to many questions through the recent change in the political equation and the reconstitution of the government.
