PM Dahal holds meeting with Federal Alliance

KATHMANDU, April 27: Prime Minister Dahal held a meeting with the leaders of the federal alliance to discuss how to proceed in connection with the constitution amendment bill registered at the Legislature –Parliament  on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, April 27: Prime Minister Dahal held a meeting with the leaders of the federal alliance to discuss how to proceed in connection with the constitution amendment bill registered at the Legislature –Parliament  on Thursday.


The meeting called by PM Dahal made a decision to hold both informal and formal discussions with all the parties having representations in Parliament in a bid to persuade them to extend support to the recently registered amendment bill.

It has been learned that the fastest possible method of endorsing the amendment proposal was discussed at the meeting held at Baluwatar.


The meeting concluded with the decision to call the meeting with the all the parties representing parliament on Friday after first holding informal discussions with them.


The meeting was attended by PM Dahal, DPM Kamal Thapa, CPN(Maoist Centre) leader Barshaman Pun and RJP-N leaders including Mahanta Thakur and Rajendra Mahato.
