CHITWAN, March 1: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said Bharatpur Metropolitan City is being developed as a new hub for health care services.
Inaugurating a newly-built building of Bharatpur Eye Hospital this morning, PM Dahal said that the present government was active in ensuring the constitutionally-guaranteed health rights into practice.

He said that effective implementation of the health insurance program, free vaccine against breast cancer and uterus cancer, and other initiatives have been brought into practice and expressed the confidence that the health sector would witness a massive reform through all these efforts.
Likewise, PM Dahal pledged to allocate the maximum possible budget in the health sector in the upcoming budget.
With the construction of the new building of the hospital, PM Dahal expressed his confidence that the hospital's quality and quantity in its services would further expand in the coming days. "With the development of physical infrastructure, the hospital's services, research and health training should be upgraded to the same degree," he said.
On the occasion, the PM pledged to provide the needed support and facilitation on behalf of the federal government.
