PM Deuba has the option of either leaving MCC or saving ruling alliance: Dr Koirala

Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr Shashanka Koirala has said that the US-funded Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact agreement should be ratified through parliament.


Talking to media persons on Friday, Dr Koirala said that NC President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has the option of either giving up the MCC or saving the coalition and that the PM has talked about his firm decision to stand in favor of the project.

He also claimed that the ruling coalition will break if the MCC is passed.
