PM Deuba urges people to stand against possible dictatorship

TANAHUN, Nov 28: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the right to determine the country's ruling system-- dictatorship or democracy-- is in the hand of the people. 


In his address to an election assembly organized at Bhanu Municipality-12 in Tanahu by the Nepali Congress today, party President Deuba said," Only democracy is good for the nation and that's why I urge the people to vote for the democratic candidates in the election."

The second phase of elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies is taking place in 45 districts on December 7. 


Accusing the leftist alliance of intending to impose totalitarianism in the country, he called on the people to stand against such attempt. 


Also speaking on the occasion, NC senior leader Ramchandra Poudel urged voters to make the democratic candidates victorious for the nation's 'development' 'protection' of democracy. RSS
