KATHMANDU, April 8: Govinda Ballav Pant University of Agriculture and Technology at Indian state Uttarakhand has conferred honorary doctorate degree to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during his visit to Uttarakhand on Sunday.
The chancellor of G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology and Governor Krishna Kant Paul of the state conferred PM Oli the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science ( Honoris causa).

PM Oli took a special flight to receive the degree from the university in Pantnagar. Later in the afternoon, PM Oli will attend the lunch hosted by Governor Paul. Oli will return to New Delhi after the lunch.
PM Oli and Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Saturday had agreed for use of Indian technology for commercialization of agriculture in Nepal.
He is scheduled to return to Kathmandu in the evening.
