KATHMANDU, July 5: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stressed on consensus to end the political transition within a year.
While addressing th1e inaugural program of the Second General Congress of the Nepal Pariwar Dal here on Tuesday, PM Oli committed that the incumbent government was ready to forge the political consensus which was disconnected in the past.
He clarified that there was no relevance of protest in the country, adding that it was a need of the hour to institutionalize the past achievement.
PM Oli said that the implementation of the constitution was the main task for ending the political transition after holding the elections of all three levels and deadline for that is January 2018.
About 135 laws should be prepared for the same, he argued.

Likewise, former Prime Minister and Rastriya Prajantra Party (RPP) Chairman Lokendra Bahadur Chand urged all Nepalis to embrace the formula of unity, pointing that the time has come for Nepalis to ace with wisdom with regards to ending current political problems.
On ways of ending existing political crisis, Nepali Congress leader Gopal Man Shrestha viewed that consensus and cooperation between each other would help end existing political transition.
CPN (Maoist Centre) whip Hitraj Pandey was of the view that effective implementation of the constitution would direct the future of the country in the days to come.
Similarly, Chairman of protesting Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Upendra Yadav accused the government of failing to step up to address Madhes issue.
Also, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vijay Jolly said that it were the Nepali people themselves who would take it into their own hands to work and develop their nation and that the roads to consensus and cooperation among Nepali political parties and people after making out differences between them were an important backbone for the implementation of the constitution.
The Nepal Pariwar Dal in its Declaration Paper envisioned peace, unity and development as its staple base. A total of 1,100 representatives took part in the general convention.
Bharatiya Rastriya Congress leader, Alok Sharma, wished success for the convention in his speech and termed Nepal-India relations as incomparable. It is high time the Nepali people think positively rather than harbouring negative thoughts.
Aam Admi Party Bharat leader, Pranab Kumar, said development was only possible through mutual unity not discrimination.
