KATHMANDU, Feb 25: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has claimed that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will support the UML candidate for the presidency as per the agreement reached on December 25.
Oli made this claim while talking to the media after the party Central Secretariat meeting held at the party central office in Chyasal on Saturday. He said that even though Prime Minister Dahal said that he was in difficulty and under pressure, he is confident that Maoist will help the UML candidate according to the agreement of December 25.

He said, “Prachandaji is saying that he is in difficulty and is under pressure [to support NC candidate]. However, he will vote according to the agreement. How did eight parties come together? Can there be votes when eight parties are just invited for tea?”
The UML has nominated former Speaker and Constituent Assembly Speaker Subash Chandra Nemwang as the presidential candidate.
