PM's State visit to India successful: Acting NC President Nidhi

KATHMANDU, August27: Acting President of the Nepali Congress Bimalendra Nidhi has argued that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's State visit to India became successful in all- political, economic and diplomatic- fronts.

KATHMANDU, August27: Acting President of the Nepali Congress Bimalendra Nidhi has argued that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's State visit to India became successful in all- political, economic and diplomatic- fronts. 


Acting President Nidhi said in a press meet at party office Sunday that PM Deuba's State visit strengthened relations in political, economic and diplomatic sectors.

He further said the visit has created atmosphere of trust, thereby reaching the Nepal-India relations to a new height. 


Referring to PM Deuba's views on implementation of constitution during his India visit, Nidhi said the PM's views were mature and relevant at a time when Nepal is in need of support from the international community too to make the constitution all-acceptable. His views were in favor of federal democratic republic, nation and the constitution, Nidhi underscored. 

Oli's view besmirches Nepal's dignity 


He further said the media reports the CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli's view during his visit to China that his party had not liked federal system was condemnable for Oli spoke about internal politics there. Oli's view has besmirched Nepal's dignity, Nidhi asserted. 


Moreover, the Acting President of the NC went on saying that UML leader and former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal's visit to North Korea was against Nepal's foreign policy. RSS
