TANAHU,July 14: The dead body of Omraj Paudel, Chief of Social Development Division under the Pokhara Metropolitan City was found today floating on the water of Seti River at Bhimad Municipality-6, Tanahu.

Poudel had gone missing since June 23 and earlier police had said that he might have committed suicide by jumping into the river from the Mahendra Bridge. Locals noticed the body floating on the river water at around 8:00 am and informed to the Bhimad Police Post, according to Sub Inspector Gyanendra Karki.
The body was retrieved near from the river bank and it was recognised with the help of his kin. The body has been kept at the Pokhara-based Gandaki Hospital for post-mortem examinations. RSS
