UDAYAPUR, May 25: A young man who was absconding after being convicted of banking offenses, has been arrested by the police.
Kamal Shrestha, 29, of Triyuga Municipality 7, Chuhade, who was absconding despite being sentenced to one-day imprisonment and a fine of Rs 200,000 for banking offense, was arrested.

Shrestha was found by a special team of the District Police Office during the search operation as he was absconding following the issuance of the verdict from the High Court of Patan on February 6.
Shrestha, who was absconding, was found and arrested on Wednesday at his home in Triyuga Municipality-7, based on a tipoff.
DSP and information officer of the District Police Office, Harinandan Chaudhary, said that the arrested Shrestha was sent to the District Court Udayapur for the execution of the verdict on Wednesday.
